Summer tires

Driving on summer tires is recommended at temperatures above 7 degrees, as a combination of design and material selection is optimized for this. The design has relatively few grooves, which increase the contact surface with the road, and give the car a better road grip and improved braking performance in the summer months. A rubber compound with relatively high hardness ensures good driving characteristics, low rolling resistance and better fuel utilization.

Winter tires

Winter tires play a major role in road safety. The design and rubber compound are optimized for driving in snow and on wet and cold roads. Deep grooves and sipes ensure that the car has a better grip on smooth surfaces. The softer rubber compound ensures flexibility at low temperatures and thus better control of the car. All in all, winter tires are the right solution for temperatures below 7 degrees.

All-season tires

All-season tires are developed for driving all year round and combine properties from both summer and winter tires. If the need to drive is limited and the winter is mild, all-season tires can be a good and cost-saving solution. However, it is important to emphasize that all-season tires are not an optimal solution for snowy and icy roads. When driving in these conditions, changing to winter tires is recommended.
