The purpose of NDI A/S’ sponsorship policy is to ensure focused and meaningful engagement in the local communities and industries in which we operate. To ensure relevance and alignment with current needs, our sponsorship and engagement policy is agile and reviewed annually.
The policy is based on two key focus areas, as outlined below:
NDI A/S supports activities that strengthen community spirit and create well-being, joy and activity in our local areas. This may include initiatives within:
- Sports and club life
- Music and cultural activities
- Other local initiatives that promote well-being and social cohesion
We aim to contribute to vibrant and attractive local communities in which people enjoy living and working. Sponsorships are typically granted to associations, events or projects with strong local roots and broad community value. Sponsorships are not granted to individuals.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and applicants will receive a response once an evaluation has been completed.
NDI A/S seeks to support and promote vocational education, with particular focus on trades such as metal workers, mechanics, and warehouse and logistics programs related to the transport or automotive industry, agriculture or similar fields.
We recognize the importance of these professions and wish to support students currently enrolled in vocational education by offering financial support for their educational journey.
Annual Grants
Each year, NDI A/S awards five grants of DKK 10,000 to applicants enrolled in one of the above-mentioned educational programs. The grants are awarded as a one-time payment and may be applied for purposes such as skills development, purchase of tools, study trips and other education-related activities.
Application Process
Applications are accepted throughout the year. To apply for a grant, applicants must submit a motivated application including:
- formation about who you are, your age, what you are studying, your progress in the program, and whether you are currently in an apprenticeship
- An explanation of why you should receive a grant and how you intend to use it
- Any additional information you believe may be relevant to the assessment of your application

Grant Awarding
Applications can be submitted throughout the year, but decisions regarding grant recipients and the awarding of grants take place annually in December. Recipients are selected based on their applications and their potential to contribute positively to their field.
Who Can Apply
We accept applications from individuals enrolled in vocational education as mechanics (all specializations), metal workers (all specializations), or warehouse and logistics programs. Applications are welcome from both employees of the NDI Group and external candidates. The annual application deadline is 1 November.
Tax
As a general rule, grants and sponsorships are considered taxable income for the recipient.
Certain exceptions may apply under tax legislation; however, it is the recipient’s own responsibility to ensure correct tax reporting.
Communication
We encourage all interested parties to follow our website and social media channels to learn more about the projects and students we support, as well as to receive updates on our sponsorship activities.
GDPR and Consent to Marketing
By submitting an application for NDI A/S grants, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with applicable GDPR legislation. You also agree that NDI A/S may use your name, image and information about the grant award in professional marketing and communication activities – for example on our website, social media channels and in press releases. This will always be done with respect for you and your story.
